in 1983. It has four modules including:
communications

database
spreadsheet
Each module is interactive and handles
data seamlessly between modules. SmartWare was one of the first office

and easy to use.

The coding environment offers an every
easy to understand Command Reference which mirrors the end-user menu
options. The coding environment offers COM enabled integration, event
driven structure, SQL views and query editor, fully featured ODBC
linking and embedding, debugging tools and a new Windows Report Editor.
Please refer to the Features section for more details.
All SmartWare versions are sold with a
Maintenance package. Maintenance allows for a customer to receive
all product enhancements during the year. Maintenance is purchased
annually. The enhancements are released periodically as a new build.
There are two types of builds: a full build and a winoac build.
A full build is the complete installable
media for a SmartWare installation.
The executable file of SmartWare is the
winoac.exe file. The winoac.exe is located in the bin directory of
the SmartWare install. Many times product enhancements can be
distributed in the winoac builds. Winoac builds are smaller and
therefore easy to download. Builds can be accessed on this site in
the Support section.
